The Volvik Pro Bismuth is a premium level 3-piece golf ball designed for advanced golfers with higher swing speeds. The Pro Bismuth is favored by numerous international professional golfers because it provides explosive distance and more accurate approach through its solid Power Core made of High cis-Rubber joined with a Bismuth (Bi #83) mixed soft outer Control Layer and the soft Zirconium Z-I Outer Cover. The outer core of the golf ball that contributes a great source of power, Bismuth, is compressed in a high temperature heating treatment. Unlike normal metal, Bismuth expands 3-3.5% in volume, leading to greater energy transfer. The dual core offers optimal spin rates made possible by more durable/softer Zirconium Z-I cover and an improved flight stability through its 446-Octahedron dimple pattern. This optimal spin separation generated by the more solid inner core creates longer distance off the driver and long irons while the spin increases closer to the green due to the soft outer core, producing higher spin in short irons for total control. Elizabeth finished the season with 1 victory and 5 Top 10 finishes while Lee finished with 1 victory and 4 Top 10 results. Both players used Volvik 4-piece Vista iV golf balls all season long. Both players have been signed for the 2013 LPGA Tour.
